

Mr. Andrey Geva, Board Director (Resigned)
Mr. Andrey Geva has over 35 years of experience as a head coach of highly competitive men’s and women’s epee fencing teams. He is the Head Coach and Owner of Alliance Fencing Academy – one of the nation's biggest and most successful fencing clubs. He coaches five world champions, three Olympians, numerous World Cup champions, medalists, and over 40 U.S. national champions. He has a successful track record for managing fencing programs and developing talent at the club, varsity, and national levels. His proven athletic administration skills include training plan development, budgeting, staffing/scheduling, travel planning, communications, and public relations.

2013 – 2021: Team USA Women’s Epee National Coach. Under Mr. Geva’s leadership, the U.S. Women’s Epee Team won its first-ever gold medal on the World Cup Circuit in May 2018, followed by a historic Senior World Championship gold medal the following July. The U.S. National Women’s Epee Team finished the 2017-2018 season as the No. 1 team in the world.

2007 – 2013: Team USA Designated Coach/Head of Mission for major cadet and junior international epee tournaments including world championships

2004 – Present: Head Coach for Alliance Fencing Academy - Developed over 40 international champions, medalists, and finalists, over 40 U.S. national champions, and over 60 “A” rated fencers. Alliance fencers have permanently represented Team USA at world championships since 2007. 2006: USFA Developmental Coach of the Year

2003-2004: Chairman of the Gulf Coast Division of USFA
​Before Mr. Geva moved to the U.S., he was the coach of Israeli National Women’s Epee Team from 1994 to 1999, where he was inducted in the Cosell Sports Hall of Fame, Jerusalem, Israel. Before that, he was a member of the USSR national epee team and recipient of the USSR "Master of Sports" award.
